Bloomberg Live hosted leading educators, philanthropists, and policy makers for a half-day discussion about the future of public education.

Rachana’s panel titled, “A New Kind of Classroom” posed essential questions for modern education: What skills do students need for the future of work? Coding, AR/VR, cybersecurity? How do we integrate problem solving, creativity and collaboration?

Guests discussed real examples of afterschool programming, equipping teachers to support technical learning, interdisciplinary approaches to problem solving, and the imperative of scaling opportunities across economic demographics.

Bloomberg Chairman, Peter Grauer, made opening remarks for Bloomberg’s Women in FinTech special Women’s History Month panel about Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Rachana hosted and moderated the program discussion. Panelists Lena Mass-Cresnik (Moelis) Carson Kahn (Volley), and Amanda Stent (Bloomberg) offered insights about the landscape of AI and machine learning in finance.
